As far back as 1992 there has been a Saint Patrick’s Day parade in Moscow. The parade has always been well attended with children and their parents in bright beautiful colors remembering Saint Patrick and the culture of Ireland.
Russian language was taught in the world famous Trinity College in Dublin for many many years and the Irish language of Gaelic was also taught in the famous Moscow State University named after Lomonosov.
Enough of the history lesson. Since covid restrictions back in 2020, there has not been an Irish parade in Moscow. We want to change that and have created the Irish fest for you and for your friends and families.
At Irish fest 2024 we want to give you a taste of Ireland with Irish dancing , Irish music an opportunity for the children to have their faces painted like little leprechauns. We’ll also have an arts and crafts corner for children to create items such as shamrock and pots of gold and maybe even make their own leprechauns.
We’ve more planned and welcome your ideas too. See you soon.Â

Hugh is a very proud Irishman , fell in love with Olga many moons agoÂ
and followed his heart to Russia. They live outside Moscow with theirÂ
daughter, Alexandra.Some of you may know him as an English teacher orÂ
maybe as an actor. He is also a dubbing specialist and business coach. He lovesÂ
to network and also runs courses on the best selling classic “The Artist’s Way
Guy Eames has twenty-five years of experience in the largest companies not only abroad, but also in Russia, over the past 12 years in the real estate and green construction market. Guy Eames founded the Russian Green Building Council (RuGBC) in 2009, the largest green building association in Russia today.
